I basically break up my workout groups into 3 days.  Legs, back + shoulders and arms + chest.  On the 4th day I work out stabilization, abs and glutes as well as plyometrics and cardio.  If I feel like working out a 5th day, I go to Bikram.  Bikram is a great way to develop proprioception and learn proper form and posture.

You can progress from planks to planks on a yoga ball either feet on the ball or reverse with feet on the floor.  Push ups are also a great stabilizer exercise and when they get easier you can make it harder with a yoga ball.

Leg lifts on a yoga ball make simple leg lifts more difficult, engaging your core muscles.  You’ll definitely feel this in your hamstrings and your glutes as well as your lower back and abs which you use to stabilize.

It seems almost everyone, everywhere is doing the 90 day challenge.  Just yesterday I was at Ezogiku in Waimalu having some ramen after hitting the gym.  I had my Visalus shake powder in my purse and was making myself a shake in my protein cup while I finished my lunch, when the old asian lady who owned the restaurant started to tell us about how she’s lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks and that she too is a promoter.

It truly is a shame how over-saturated this company has become.  I just recently signed up, but fail to see potential for great success.  I choose to continue in the company because it truly is a great product that I personally use and will refer to all my clients and friends. I’m sold for life! I have not heard anything negative personally about the products, only the company and the negative connotations that come with MLM, Facebook spam and aggressive pushy sales persons.

I ordered the executive kit which comes with the media + a whole bunch of products.  I hate taking vitamins, and I figured that the vi-pak were just overpriced vitamins.  I have a huge drawer full of vitamin shoppe bottles (I spend at least $100 a month on) and I’m tired of taking pills all the time.  These pills are conveniently packed in AM and PM packs making them easier to take.  But when I compared it side by side with the competing brands, it truly is a great vitamin pack.  Tomorrow I am going to a Nuskin party where I will get a “scan” from a machine that will measure how good my vitamin regiment is working.  In a month, I am going to rescan to see how effective the vi-pak is.  After then, I will start taking Pharmanex (Life Pak Nano), the Nuskin brand of vitamins and rescan to see how effective they are as well.

In my kit also came metabolism boosters, appetite suppressants, Neuro (a light energy booster) and the sweet cream shakes.  The shakes are wonderful and delicious and easy to blend with fresh ingredients to make gourmet shakes.  Nutrition shakes can often taste vitamin-ey and simply nasty, but Visalus takes great!  My favorite personal recipe is nutella key lime pie.  I blend Nutella with vanilla yoghurt, lime and graham crackers.  Or simply, when I am on the go, an orange cream with orange juice.  Again… when I compared Visalus to other companies, the charts proved it superior to competing brands.

So… I am on week 2 of the 90 day challenge.  I’m a pretty fit person, and I am constantly in the gym, but I find it hard to trim down on those hard to trim places, like on my under-worked hamstrings and that little bit of fat on my waist. Especially since I like to eat ramen noodles and gyoza’s all the time.  The low calorie shakes (90 cals) have really helped me to replace some calories that I need to eliminate to create a deficit to be able to lose weight.  In only a week I have already trimmed down in my waist, and my abs are beginning to pop and cellulite disappearing from my hamstrings and glutes.  I have a shake for breakfast, and I have one after my work out.  If I am hungry, I choose to have a light lunch like a salad or some sushi, but generally the odorless and tasteless powder, vi-slim helps to suppress my appetite.  I like to eat, so I reserve my bigger meals for dinner like some shrimp pasta or some bim bim kook soo with korean bbq.  I don’t eat what I want but I do get to enjoy myself from time to time and still see results.  You don’t have to eat chicken and sweet potato and oatmeal all week long and hate what you’re eating.  Just choosing smarter choices and healthy fats in moderation can help.  Eating bacon cheesburgers, fried chicken and french fries probably is a poor choice.  But an Eggs la jolla, (bread, ham, asparagus, mushroom, creamy pesto sauce, potatoes) is full of fresh vegetables, low fat meat, and a creamy sauce can be a healthier choice.   There is a little bit of natural fats in the sauce, but a small amount of fat in a nutritious meal can be better than fried chicken and gravy. Saturday, I cheated and had some McDonalds when I was on the go, but I do allow myself one cheat day a week.

I am having a 90 day challenge party tomorrow at Apartm3nt (7 pm) where you can try the shakes, and join the challenge.  If you can’t make it, I have them every Sunday in my home at 6 pm.  What is your 90 day challenge?

How do I get an X6?  It’s simple.  As a distributor, my immediate goal is to sign up 3 distributors and 3 customers to become a “rising star.”  Your sales total should be $2000 a month.   When you become a “rising star,” your product becomes FREE.  Next, make sure those 3 distributors do the same thing, become a “rising star.”  Then you get $600 a month FREE towards a black BMW on top of your commission checks which will rapidly grow in just a few months.  Simple.  If you make sure to help all your downline become “rising stars” and they follow this strategy, your business can dramatically grow in just months.

I want to try more products so I am more aware of what the company has to offer.  I’m wary about shakes, but I have tried samples and they are actually quite delicious.  I spend $200 a month at vitamin shop anyways, and to just have everything in a package through one company at an affordable price, ($2 a shake) and get it for FREE just makes sense.

My girlfriend in the mainland hit me up with these new wraps.  People are always trying to sell me on some kind of beauty product, but I am always skeptical.  I  take care of my body, my skin, my face, my health, etc.  After asking a lot of questions, I decided to try it.  Supposedly they help get rid of fats in those hard to lose places.  And NO they are not getting rid of water weight.  They are helping your body lose toxins and actual body fat.
