10 of My Favorite Supplements and Medicines

1. Zija

While I was pregnant, I was very sick.  I lost a lot of weight, and most of the nutrition was stolen by the fetus.  I threw up constantly and had no energy and often I had dizzy spells and black outs.  I was also very stressed out due to my baby’s daddy being a moron.  I went home to my parents and they got me started on this.  The first drink I was up walking around the house like I had never had a coffee before and I ate a huge meal at dinner and managed to keep it down.  So happy with my energy and health I joined the company. Yes, it’s MLM.  A 30 day supply of individually canned drinks is about $100 plus shipping.  It’s expensive, but it was so worth it to me.  I even gave my daughter half a can a day after she was born.  To this day, she is a super healthy, strong kid.  She is rarely sick (with the exception of minor colds) and only has been to the hospital once when she was very young for croup.  The flavor is delicate and mild with a herbal flavor.  It takes a while to get use to, but once you do, it becomes an acquired taste, I find quite pleasant.   More recently, the company has come out with new products, but their signature drink is my favorite.

2. Visalus

As much as I hate taking vitamins, I love drinking my cake batter flavored Visalus shake in the morning.  When it’s time to lose weight, I can up to two shakes a day as a meal replacement to create a calorie deficit and enable weight loss.  Other times, just one shake a day to make sure I’m getting the nutrients I need is great and has kept me healthy.  I want to make fun of the cult the “90 day challenge” has become.  Usually MLM companies are sold by high school drop outs, and  the degree-less unemployed.  But this company has gotten legitimate, intelligent, business people engaged in their products.  All jokes aside, I enjoy the shakes mostly and will continue to drink them on a daily basis.

3) New You 3.0

A natural supplement that stimulates the natural growth of HGH (Human Growth Hormone).  It aids in muscle growth, endurance and also improves sleep quality and memory.  Surrounded by body builders (I train at World Gym) It’s always easy to feel discouraged by seeing the trainers around me.  But I have to keep in mind that they have done unhealthy things such as use HGH and steroids to get where they are today.  This is a healthy alternative to those unhealthy practices.

4. Animal Cuts

I recommend this only for the serious body builders 4-6 weeks before shows with a strict diet.  I’ve made myself very sick off of these, so you have to be careful when taking them.  They are a pack of 8 pills that include thermogenics, diuretics, fat burner, metabolism booster, thyroid complex,  nootropic complex (mood support), cortisol inhibiting complex, CCK inhibiting complex (appetite suppressant), and special bioavailability complex.  I don’t think the appetite suppressants really work though.  Get yourself some high quality hoodia and you’ll be good.  This isn’t the healthiest of supplements.  It contains extremely strong stimulants combined with enhancing supplements.  Get the recommendation of a professional when starting a cycle of cuts.

5. Protein and Glutamine

Basic Protein is important for anyone lifting, just like glutamine and the two come in many brands and price ranges.  A generic brand like Vitamin Shop will do just as good.  I prefer Gold Standard Whey Protein.  It’s affordable and I take it 4x a day (1 scoop) prior and before work outs and in the morning and before I sleep.  Women metabolize protein different than men, so I’d suggest men take 2 scoops 3x a day for muscle gains.  There are more expensive organic, unpasteurized, non whey/soy proteins etc.  It depends what your standards are and preferences.

6. Ageloc Vitality

I just recently purchased this product. AgeLOC Vitality is formulated to address the sources of age-related vitality loss. By supporting healthy, youthful expression of a mitochondria-related Youth Gene Clusters (YGC’s), it promotes optimal mitochondrial performance to help your cells produce energy more efficiently. This exclusive ageLOC Vitality blend improves three key areas of vitality—physical vigor, mental acuity, and sexual desire.

Unlike many products currently on the market, ageLOC Vitality is not designed to provide a quick fix or boost. Instead, it is formulated to raise and maintain a person’s baseline energy level for a long-term and sustained increase in overall vitality. This helps people avoid the ups and downs of caffeinated and high-sugar drinks and supplements.

7. Lifepak Nano

I hate taking pills and if I’m going to, it better be in a pack.  I’ve looked into these vitamins and they include your Omega 3′s, antioxidents, cartenoid blends, marine lipids, and some unique ingredients I find interesting such as coq10 enzyme which is good for neuro health.  Benefits include anti-aging, skin, cardiovascular, bone, eye, metabolism, and antioxident defense health.  I’ve tried them and I just recently ordered them for myself.  Can’t wait to continue taking them on a regular basis.  They jolted me with a burst of energy.

9. MMS (Chlorine Dioxide)

MMS is a strange product my father gave me.  It’s inexpensive but destroys free radicals in the body.  It is not approved by the FDA but can help with common bacterial or viral problems such as the common cold to childhood issues like parasites (worms) and aid in fighting incurable diseases such as cancer and AIDS.  Supposedly, it was stored for politicians in case they were infected with anthrax.

He gave me 2 bottles.  One was a powder of citric acid which he added water to.  The other the solution.  For each drop of solution,  I added 5 drops of citric acid to activate it.  I allowed it to sit for 5 minutes.  By then, the 2 had chemically compounded and it begins to smell like chlorine.  At high levels (10-15+ drops), it can make you feel nauseas, but sometimes is necessary for extreme medical problems.  You are suppose to slowly build your tolerance overtime.  If you get sick, drinking a glass of orange juice (citric acid) will neutralize the MMS.   The best part, within an hour, it turns to h20, leaving no harmful residual waste in your body.

10. Dr Rosequist Pycnogenol

Anytime I’m sick if anything is wrong with me, Mom says take pycnogenol.  Who knows, it’s a blend of antioxident rich herbs, alpha lipoic acid, co enzyme q10 and acetyl-l-carnitine as well as other things.  This can do many good things for you.
